Acolytes: Ibiki, Ceolwic, Temoi, Rat.
Having found a way to activate the Throne Gate, the Heroes are teleported to a huge room filled with arcane devices. There they find Garrow, taken by madness, throwing the completed pattern away from him. The Heroes attack him immediately, and kill him on the spot. His corpse reveals his true form, a changeling.
In the room, the Heroes find a huge primitive warforged, with the pattern now embedded in his chest, and shining with power. A thunderous voice fills their heads:
"I am Xulo, and I am whole once again!"
As the Heroes try to stop the creature, Xulo animates the giant warforged, at the sime time sending blast of mental compulsions against the Heroes. After a desperate fight, the Heroes manage to destroy the warforged, and separate the four schemas from the pattern. Xulo lies dormant once again.
After resting in the temple for a week, the Heroes make their way back to Sharn, where they deliver the pattern and the four schemas to Lady Elaydren.
