Heroes: Rat, Shazar'r, Elwyn
Rat rapidly escape through a dimensional door, and regroups with the rest of the party. Together, they first go back to the Golden Dragon, where a warforged strike team has captured the crew. They take care of the invaders, and then fly the sky-ship to Vathirond, assaulting the clockwork fortress of the Governor from the top.
Inside, they're immediately confronted by Lady Dusharra and her bodyguards. Elwyn's words, and the horrors she's witnessed, persuade Dusharra to take sides with the Heroes. After killing the warforged bodyguards, the Heroes obtain some information about the Fortress from Dusharra.
The whole building is a Cannith artefact from an ancient time, and its purpose is to serve as a mobile fortress. It also contains a portal that connects to Metrol, the former Cyran capital city, where even now Merrix is planning to complete his plans. The portal, tied to Daanvi, the plane of Law, is malunctioning, and Dusharra asks the Heroes to help her repair it.
While they discuss the issue, several clockwork horrors attack them, a sort of defense system of the Fortress. The Heroes have no time to linger...
