Heroes: Elwyn, Lizt, Dalin, Manten.
The Heroes are ambushed by a party of Tharask bounty-hunters, charged with the task of capturing the renowed explorer Halas Martain. The party is not willing to give up the explorer, and they're forced to subdue the half-orc hunters.
After this last obstruction, they make their way back to Stormreach, where new passengers are embarking; among them, a gnome professor from the Morgrave University, travelling with several big cages containing Dire beasts from Xen'drik.
Elwyn and Lady Elaydren (she travelled on the Golden Dragon under a false identity) spend a romantic night in Stormreach, but are attacked by Warforged assassins. Elwyn manages to defeat them, and Elaydren explains that the living constructs were hunting for her (see here for details)
The day after, with the cargo loading operations completed, more troubles arise. The Dire animals in the cargo hold are released by a vengeful Drow Druid, and a party of Dark Elves, together with a young white dragon, attacks the Golden Dragon! The Heroes defeat the hijackers, but the losses among the crew are such that the departure of the Golden Dragon is delayed a few days.
While the ship is still anchored, another party of Warforged attacks, led by a monstrosity half-human, half-warforged. The Heroes faces the Warforged, but their weapons are useless against their leader. Only through cunning and a bit of luck, the Heroes manage to throw the villain overboard, while more Warforged approach on flying skiff.
Out of options, Elwyn decides to take-off from Stormreach with the Golden Dragon, hoping to lose the pursuers.
