Sir Jorah is a member of the Sentinel Marshals, and a follower of Dol Arrah. He joined the Marshals more for his love of the hunt, and for his thirst for adventure, than to uphold the law, although he never misses a chance to capture criminals, especially if the prize on their head is quite high. He does not crave riches (he donates most of his earnings to good causes) but he enjoys the prestige.
His passion for heavy drinks has made him a bit of an outcast from the upper echelons of House Deneith, a fact that he does not resent.
